Have-a-Go Success at Berwick Sevens.
The have-a-go session we offered at Berwick
Sevens at Berwick Rugby Club attracted quite a bit of interest
from people of all ages. We even had a 'ringer' from a Derby
archery club who claimed not to know what he was doing then
shot six golds on a second go. Good job we weren't offering
a prize for the best score!
If anyone who had-a-go (or even if you didn't) would like
to find out more or join our next beginners course, then go
to our contact page and get in touch.
Thanks to all club members who helped to make the day a success.

March 24
BERWICK COMES OUT TOP IN LOCAL DERBY LEAGUE SHOOT.
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Postal League
Portsmouth Round on 21 March when we beat our local rivals,
Kirknewton Archers.
Our top five scores came from Steve, Diane, Frazer, Clive
and Tom R with their total beating Kirknewton's top five by
quite a margin. Our leading score came from club chairman
Steve with a new personal best.
That's quite a finish to our Postal League season!
Nov - LOGICAL LEAGUE
The DNAA Logical League Scores for October are now posted
on the DNAA website. Click
here to go to the page and if you click on the league
names in the League Listings it will bring up a spreadsheet
of the scores so that you can see how you are doing compared
with people from other clubs.
If that's too complicated, here's a summary of club member
scores: Diane 324, Tom R 311, Sandy 305, Steve 301, Clive
294, Brian 293, Frazer & Ian C 288, John 282, Chris 257,
Kathy 237, Ian W 210, Jack 178, Donald 116.
Similar performance this month will mean that several people
will be moving up to higher leagues with the remainder steady
where they are.
Any newer members who
are not sure how it all works, visit the DNAA website or just
ask on club night.
