are inspired by the ancient illuminated
manuscript, ‘The Lindisfarne Gospels’, housed in the British Library.
The designs are based on the beautiful illustrations created by
the 7th century monks of Lindisfarne.

are inspired by Ireland’s ‘Book of Kells’,
the richest, most copiously illuminated surviving manuscript of
the Gospels in Celto-Saxon style, now in the library at Trinity
College, Dublin.
are inspired by the decoration on Henry
VIII’s clothing in Holbein’s famous portrait of him. Decorative
knotwork underwent a revival during Tudor times and you weren’t
anyone unless you had a knot garden!
are inspired by decorative Japanese and
Chinese emblems. So if your garden has an oriental theme, this could
be one for you!

are composed of two hearts intertwined,
for all you great romantics. Why not plant one for the love of your
life?
You could think of this as a type of love
knot or alternatively it would be fitting for those who love playing
cards!

is our megaknot, for want of a better word.
It has close associations with both Lindisfarne and Kells but caters
for those of you who have more space to fill!
